ALYSSA DEE KRAUSS
Since receiving her MFA from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, Alyssa has concentrated mostly on the emotional and intellectual aspects of personal communication, using jewelry as the format for her revealing explorations.
She has been the recipient of several awards, including fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and New Jersey State Council on the Arts as well as a Lila Wallace/Reader's Digest Foundation Giverny Residency Grant.
Alyssa has exhibited extensively around the world, and her work is in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Museum of Arts and Design in New York, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Musee des Beaux-Arts in Montreal.
