EVA EISLER

One of the most important artist-jewelers in the world, Eisler is currently chairman of the metals department at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, Czech Republic, her homeland. She is also notable for her product design, especially the tabletop objects she creates for prominent German company mono, as well as lighting, furniture, interiors, drawings and site-specific sculpture.

Eisler has participated in exhibitions too numerous to list, that include a solo jewelry exhibition at Columbia University School of Architecture in 1992 (the only jeweler to be so honored) and several one-person shows in the Czech Republic as well as Padova, Italy and around the U.S.A. She is represented in many international public collections, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Brooklyn Museum and Cooper-Hewitt Museum, New York, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich, and Musee des Beaux Arts, Montreal.
